Ceasarae Galvan

Ceasarae Galvan is awty's mom first, president and co-founder of the awty fund second. As a longtime advocate and nonprofit leader, she brings both personal experience and a deep understanding of the challenges facing aicardi families. she is passionate about turning Awty’s legacy into practical support,  connection, and lasting change for the community.

Austin Galvan

As Awty’s doting father and the Vice President and co-founder of The Awty Fund, Austin Galvan brings a strong background in organizational leadership and community outreach. As a U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant, he understands the importance of service, teamwork, and showing up for others when they need it most.

Alexa Brenner is awty's unbiological aunt, who has adopted the whole galvan family as her own. her background in nonprofit, political, and advocacy work brings the technical skills and her lifetime of experience with type one diabetes contributes to the practical knowledge of a medical diagnosis that takes a village.

Dan Knox brings knowledge and experience of serving on boards and loving people with chronic illness to the awty fund. he is passionate, caring, and wants to be sure support people in the lives of aicardi families are able to show up when it matters most EQUIPPED with the knowledge to do so.

Nataysha Wallace is a registered nurse and honorary member of the  family, having been Awty’s personal nurse for her last 3 years. Her experience caring for Awty gave her a firsthand understanding of the unique challenges Aicardi families face. She is passionate about ensuring every caregiver has access to the skilled, compassionate support they need to care for their child.

Star Stater brings decades of experience in nonprofit fundraising, corporate philanthropy, and community service to The Awty Fund. As a longtime nonprofit leader and board member, she is passionate about finding real solutions that create meaningful change and improve lives.

Willow came into awty's life only a year before her passing, but she took her job seriously. when she was on shift she inspected every visitor, watched their every move, and made sure nothing would disturb her girl during a good nap.

Salem was awty's closest confidanT, she was by her side every day for years, monitoring her vitals, keeping her company after seizures, and providing unlimited cuddles. Awty was not only salem's favorite human, but the only human that mattered in salem's eyes.
